And if all the trees on earth were pens and the ocean (were ink), with
seven oceans behind it to add to its (supply), yet would not the words
of Allah be exhausted (in the writing): for Allah is Exalted in Power,
full of Wisdom.

Allah
Allah is the light of the
heavens and the earth. The similitude of His light is as a niche
wherein is a lamp. The lamp is in a glass. The glass is as it were a
shining star. (This lamp is) kindled from a blessed tree, an olive
neither of the East nor of the West, whose oil would almost glow
forth (of itself) though no fire touched it. Light upon light, Allah
guideth unto His light whom He wills. [Qur'an
24:35]
Allah is the personal name of the One true God. Nothing else can be
called Allah. Allah is the personal name of God in Aramaic, the
language of Jesus and a sister language of Arabic. Allah is the
Almighty, Creator and Sustainer of the universe, Who is similar to
nothing and nothing is comparable to Him.
The Prophet Muhammad (saaw) was asked by his contemporaries about
Allah; the answer came directly from God Himself in the form of a
short chapter of the Quran, which is considered the essence of the
unity or the motto of monotheism. This is chapter 112 which reads:
"In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate.
Say (O Muhammad) He is God the One God, the Everlasting Refuge, who
has not begotten, nor has been begotten, and equal to Him is not
anyone."

"Allah is the Creator of everything. He is the guardian over
everything. Unto Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth."
(39:62, 63)
"No creature is there crawling on the earth, but its provision rests
on Allah. He knows its lodging place and it repository." (11:6)
“Allah is He besides Whom there is no god, the Everliving, the
Self-subsisting by Whom all subsist; slumber does not overtake Him
nor sleep; whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth
is His; who is he that can intercede with Him but by His permission?
He knows what is before them and what is behind them, and they
cannot comprehend anything out of His knowledge except what He
pleases, His knowledge extends over the heavens and the earth, and
the preservation of them both tires Him not, and He is the Most
High, the Great.”(02-255)
“He is Allah besides Whom there is no god; the Knower of the unseen
and the seen; He is the Beneficent, the Merciful.” (059-022)
“He is Allah, besides Whom there is no god; the King, the Holy, the
Giver of peace, the Granter of security, Guardian over all, the
Mighty, the Supreme, the Possessor of every greatness Glory be to
Allah from what they set up (with Him).” (059-023)
“He is Allah the Creator, the Maker, the Fashioner; His are the most
excellent names; whatever is in the heavens and the earth declares
His glory; and He is the Mighty, the Wise.”(059-024)
